That’s right, it’s not quite ready yet! April 27, 2023. The Johnny & Shaner Punk Rock Dadcast did their show from The old Dungeon, which was supposed to be renamed to Stage 44, but is now currently known as TwoTwoTwo, downstairs to BONDST | Event Centre. Nick James of still actively writing and recording with Accident Prone, and Johnny Zero of Blamethrower, who are playing shows and have a new album coming out, both play some acoustic songs for us after and during the show.
Next, we explore the upstairs which is now the BONDST | Event Centre at 44 Bond St East in Oshawa. The capacity is about 1300 including the balcony. There were plans when Ed & Maggie (from the old Music Hall), were in charge, to have an elevator installed. I did see the elevator shaft was still there when I was there last week. But no elevator. There was also a plan to have a rooftop patio. There is another 3rd level that is the BONDST | Snackbar which is great. It’s a much smaller bar with pub food that is open late.
