How do you feel about phones at shows? Is Deryck right? Should they have provided the cases/bags to keep phones out of hands? Perhaps printing this on the ticket before hand? I think this day in age, with the technology we have, you’re only expected when performing in public that phones will be out recording you. Me personally, I try to get one or two songs on video, with some good photos.. then I enjoy the rest of my time in the pit, with my phone away. I do this for many reasons, but my number one reason is for sharing moments for those who couldn’t be there. I am also a fan of archiving things, and holding on to them forever. Now.. if someone such as Don.. or let’s go with Axle Rose or even Jon Bon Jovi who has been taped live, singing without hitting the high notes like they used to be able to do. Well, maybe think about that before you play to 20,000 people.
